NEW SONG ALERT: ZAKIZZY Set to drop Another Banger featuring 3GAR Tagged SUGARCANE

Opening with “I no believe in angel, Till you come inna me yard” is a killer intro from ZAKIZZY, It instantly sets a romantic but grounded tone, comparing her sweetness to sugarcane gives it that addictive, feel good summer vibe.

Listeners who vibe to the smooth mid tempo afrofusion sounds of artists like Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Bhadboi OML or Rybeena are likely to appreciate a track like this that can transition smoothly from a late night drive playlist to a chilled lounge or a club link up.

Produced by STEREO LFTS, This track has a heavy infectious bounce, An Afrobeat/Afro fusion energy where romance meets the street hustle and the blend of English, pidgin and Yoruba flows naturally, the song has local authenticity but remains highly accessible to international listeners in the UK,USA and across Africa who crave that authentic West African bounce.

On the surface, the song is for the love interest who is playing hard to get but is absolutely worth the chase. She’s spicy (shombo) and got the singer literally driving himself into her den and waiting at her gate with big provision.

On a deeper level, this song is for anyone who is working hard, making moves, but needs that one person to ground them and share the sweetness of life with. It balances the vulnerability of wanting someone tonight with the confident assurance that “You go Concur”

Deeply rooted in everyday Nigerian/West African imagery, It shows a lover who is willing to provide and persist “Very very soon You go concur” which always resonates well with listeners.
No doubt, 3GAR really did his thing on this infectious joint. On June 12th SUGARCANE will be out for the world to enjoy.
